Yesterday we tried to get something done, even with the drizzle and the wet conditions. We were able to do asphalt patching on North College and in the parking lot behind the Police Station. We were also able to cross Catherine Street on the North Side with some waterlines and signal conduit. We mucked out some mud between Catherine and Spring and replaced it with stone to try and weatherproof so that we may continue with the construction.
Today, if the rain will allow, we plan to Tie into a Sewer manhole in the middle of Ann and Main. Traffic will have to be flagged in that area so we can install a sewer line over to the edge on the North side. Bear with us on Traffic Control. We will also be asphalt patching between Tugaloo and Catherine on the South side so the road will not be so rough until we can get the final asphalt down.
