We again tried to progress yesterday in the rain. As you noticed we moved some traffic devices and smoothed up some of the stone areas.
Our apology to Martha’s and the Police Department for the Duke Power non communication on the power outage. We were prepared to power up the Police Station, we did not know that Duke did not contact Martha that the outage would not occur. We are working on the proper communication with Duke.
We will try and continue to work with Duke to make these transitions as smooth as possible.
Today we hope to finish forming the area in front of the Police Station and pour the concrete. Also we hope to form the small area in front of Pete’s to complete the sidewalk between College and Catherine. We will also start demolition between Catherine and Spring on the North Side of Main.
Future work for the week. Demolition will continue. Underground electrical and signal conduit may get started. Wire pulling will continue and if we are lucky we may see the new light poles starting to be installed. They may not be lit but they may be installed.
