SUMMARY:The Bellamy Brothers: The Love Still Flows 2027
DESCRIPTION:THE BELLAMY BROTHERS: THE LOVE STILL FLOWS…\nHoward and David continue to prove that the trail they’ve ridden to fame has been as unique as their music itself—music that is now celebrating 40 years of success.\n\nThe road that started on the pop music charts in the ‘70’s\, took a winding turn into country music in the ‘80’s\, paving the way for duos to come\, such as Brooks & Dunn\, Montgomery Gentry\, Big & Rich\, and previously—The Judd’s. But before the road forked into country\, the musical odyssey of brothers Bellamy started creatively smoldering in their home state of Florida\, before exploding nationally amidst the ’70’s pop music culture of L.A.\n\nThe brothers first official gig was in 1968\, playing a free show with their father at the Rattlesnake Roundup in San Antonio\, Florida. They honed their early skills playing black clubs throughout the south\, and singing backup for artists such as Percy Sledge\, Eddie Floyd\, and Little Anthony & The Imperials. Within a few months\, the brothers moved north\, immersing themselves and their rock/country sound in the Atlanta market\, where the Allman Brothers were the emerging kings of the music world.\n\nWith the dawning of the Age of Aquarius on the horizon\, and America embroiled in a smoke haze of drugs\, civil unrest and an unpopular war\, The Bellamy’s music picked-up the hard driving edge that bespoke the times. Songwriting had become David Bellamy’s drug of choice during the long road gigs he and Howard were regularly pulling bodies and equipment to and from. It was his songwriting that was posed to soon provide the duo a national breakout.\n\nThe break came in the form of the hit\, “Spiders & Snakes\,” written by David and recorded by Jim Stafford. The song became a smash\, eventually selling more than three million units worldwide. It became the catapult that rocketed the brother onto the L.A. music scene. Young and impressionable\, Howard and David fell into the musical circle of the greats of the day: Bob Dylan\, James Taylor\, and Van Morrison\, as well as West Coast based country rockers like Poco and the Byrd’s.\nIt was a creative shoe that fit.\n\nNow known by their music and the company they were keeping\, The Bellamy’s officially lifted off the launch pad in 1976 when their single\, “Let Your Love Flow\,” became an instant smash in both the U.S. and Europe. It stayed on the international charts long enough to build a huge international fan base for the hip young brothers that endures to this day. In Germany alone it perched at #1 for more than two months. The love was indeed flowing as The Bellamy’s jammed for audiences on their sold-out concerts and shared stages with the likes of Loggin’s & Messina\, the Doobie Brothers\, and the Beach Boys.\, with their patented blend of rock/country music.\n\nTrue to their musical roots\, their style and their songwriting was moving steadily more towards their raising. By the late ‘70’s The Bellamy’s were emerging on the country charts with another bona fide smash. “If I Said You Had A Beautiful Body (Would You Hold It Against Me)\,” originally scrawled on a dinner napkin by David\, rocketed them to the top of the country charts the way “Let Your Love Flow\,” had done in the pop market just a few years earlier. It proved to be the first of a string of fourteen #1 singles in the U.S. alone.\n\n\nSuccess followed success: “Dancing Cowboys\,” “Sugar Daddy\,” “You Ain’t Just Whistlin’ Dixie\,” “Lovers Live Longer\,” “Do You Love As Good As You Look\,” “Redneck Girl\,” “For All The Wrong Reasons\,” “I Love Her Mind\,” “I Need More Of You\,” “Old Hippie\,” “Too Much Is Not Enough\,” “Kids Of The Baby Boom\,” and “Reggae Cowboy” and “Crazy From The Heart\,”…all have lined the corridors of the Bellamy’s musical history and their walls with platinum and gold.\n\nAlong the way\, Howard and David created a patent on the newly cool “duo” category in country music. In the era of the 2000’s\, The Bellamy Brothers hold the record in both the Academy of Country Music (ACM) and the Country Music Association Awards (CMA) for the most duo nominations. Numerous Grammy nods have also been directed toward the brothers.\n\nInternationally\, the story has been the same—though the titles may be different. The Bellamy’s have released more than two-dozen hit songs outside the U.S. that were never released here. With a sharp eye on the songwriting skills that have been the bedrock of their success\, Howard and David concur that their career is unique in their international finesse for matching their songs to the market.\n\n“For the international releases\, you have to have a strong melody\,” notes David. “The lyric is very important\, but internationally the melody is something fans can lock into\, even if they can’t understand the lyrics.” Howard and David continue to perform and film TV specials in Europe and around the world.\n\nThese days when the subject turns to touring\, The Bellamy’s are showing a new generation of country music how it’s done. “We’re old road dogs\,” grins Howard when asked about the motivation behind the brothers 200 plus concert dates each year. Adds David: “Our live draw is bigger than it was in the ‘80’s. I think the same people that grew up with us and with our music in the ‘60’s and ‘70’s obviously have raised a whole new generation of Bellamy fans who started toddling to our music. Now they’re turning up at our concerts as college kids\, who are really turned on and tuned in to us and our music….it’s a great feeling.”\n\nOn the infrequent off days from the road\, Howard and David head the bus back to their 150-acre family ranch in Darby\, Florida just north of Tampa. A working ranch\, the spread consists of Purebred Charlois cattle and quarter horses. Amid a land lush with fruit trees\, ancient oaks and crepe myrtles\, three generation of the Bellamy family\, headed by David and Howard’s mother\, Frances\, populate the homes clustered in the family compound.\n\nThe Bellamy Brothers latest project is their new album titled ’40 Years’ is an ambitious project that celebrates their career with 20 of their biggest hits and then adds 20 brand new songs in this 2 cd anniversary collection.

SUMMARY:The Malpass Brothers: Traditional Country Music 2027
DESCRIPTION:As young boys\, The Malpass Brothers – Christopher and Taylor – soaked up the music of their granddad’s phonograph records. Christopher earned his first talent show trophy at age 7\, and Taylor was playing mandolin by the time he was 10. Today\, they promote the work and music of classic country artists they treasure while creating new music and making their own mark in the lineage of a rich American cultural heritage. With sincerity\, honesty\, and an utter ease on stage that belies their years\, their smooth vocal blend and skillful musicianship layer infectiously into the deep respect they pay to legends who have paved the way. Add the funny\, off-the-cuff quips between the two 20-something siblings\, and the engaging concert becomes a magnetic time-traveling journey to when a calmer rhythm reigned supreme.\n\nThe Malpass Brothers made their Grand Ole Opry debut in December of 2018 and have been asked to return to the hallowed circle well over a dozen times since. The brother duo has headlined international tours and festivals in Ireland\, Switzerland\, and in Scotland\, and been featured on multiple national television shows including TBN’s “The Huckabee Show” and RFD’s “Country’s Family Reunion” and “Larry’s Country Diner”—and compilation of performances from the later was released earlier this year.

SUMMARY:Mothers Finest: The Funk Returns 2027
DESCRIPTION:“Too Funk for Rock\, Too Rock for Funk.” \n \nMothers Finest has always been a band impossible to force into artificially-labelled boxes. One of the most energetic and charismatic groups to cut a swath through the music industry\, Mothers Finest defies boundaries and creates its own genre. Led by superbly talented vocalists Glenn “Doc” Murdock and Joyce “Baby Jean” Kennedy\, and anchored by the tight\, crunchy rhythm section of Gary “Moses Mo” Moore and John “Red Devil” Hayes on guitars\, Juan Vandunk on bass\, and Dion Derek on drums\, Mothers Finest drives through the pocket like a Mack truck and peels the paint off the walls.\n\n\nNow approaching their 17th year of crushing the groove and bangin’ their fans’ heads upside\, Mothers Finest hasn’t lost any of their signature energy and passion. These veterans of the music industry – and Georgia Music Hall of Fame inductees – continue to tour\, delighting long-time fans and drawing many new ones into the fold.\n\nFrom the rollicking mashup “Mickey’s Monkey” and the soulful “Thank You For The Love” on their iconic album “Another Mother Further\,” to the bone-jarring funk-metal of “Black Radio Won’t Play This Record\,” the band has never rested on their laurels\, and has consistently refined and grown its sound while remaining true to its funk-rock roots.\n\nThey are a live band without peer\, and many a well-known artist has regretted having to follow Mothers Finest as an opening act. Get it. Get it\, get it. Get a piece of the Rock.

SUMMARY:Twitty & Lynn: A Salute to Conway & Loretta 2027
DESCRIPTION:There’s never been a more dynamic country music duo than Conway Twitty and Loretta Lynn! Now\, the torch has been passed to the next generation…Tayla Lynn & Tre Twitty. The duo credits their show’s popularity to the timeless songs of Conway and Loretta\, duets like “After the Fire Is Gone” and “You’re the Reason Our Kids Are Ugly” are all in the set\, along with Conway and Loretta solo hits like “Hello\, Darlin’” and “Coal Miner’s Daughter.\n\nIt’s a must see show with Tayla and Tre delivering their iconic grandparents super hits! Along with stories behind the songs\, Tayla will bring on the laughs and sometimes the tears with her stories about traveling on the road with her Memaw\, and how Loretta was inspired to pencil those words from her heart onto a yellow legal pad and spin them into country gold. Tre Twitty is Conway’s grandson and with his smooth style and delivery you’ll feel that his Poppy is right back on that stage!\n\nThere’s a moment right at the very beginning of any Twitty & Lynn show that affords country music fans the chance to look back in time. Just after the band has played the signature intro to “Louisiana Woman\, Mississippi Man\,” Tre Twitty and Tayla Lynn shoot each other a glance that summons the electrifying chemistry of their grandparents: Tre is the grandson of Conway Twitty\, Tayla is the granddaughter of Loretta Lynn. Audiences can’t believe their eyes. From that moment\, for the next 90 minutes\, they’re in the presence of living country music history.\n\nBut Tre Twitty & Tayla Lynn aren’t impersonators. Tre doesn’t groom Seventies sideburns and perm his hair; Tayla doesn’t mimic her grandmother’s mannerisms. Rather\, they are onstage celebrating country music\, the lost art of duet singing\, and the two beloved icons they refer to as “Poppy” and “Memaw.”\n\nTre and Tayla are busy forging their own artistic identities too. The duo has an album of originals and a few covers out now. ” The pair also released a smoldering cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “I’m on Fire” in 2022\, with a haunting music video filmed on the New Jersey shore\, and cut a version of Conway and Loretta’s “Feelins”.
