Hospitality Tax Information for the City of Walhalla
The collection of a 2% hospitality tax was enacted by SC State Law and City Ordinance in 2012. This tax (HTAX) is collected on all prepared food and beverage and is used to promote tourism inside the City of Walhalla.
HTAX forms are due by the 20th of each month and may be submitted in person or by mail. Late fees (10%) will be enforced if received after the 20th. Nonpayment may lead to additional fines and the suspension of business license.
