Today we will continue the new water service work on the South Side between Catherine and Spring. Electrical work is continuing in the same area. We will be pouring concrete in the driveways between Spring and Ann Streets on the North side of Main. You will notice that we have placed traffic devices in the shape of the new islands between Ann and Catherine. We are hoping this will direct people to be in the proper lane and hopefully slow them down. Traffic is traveling too fast for the conditions in town. Another problem is that people are traveling in the backup lane on the right. That is not a travel lane and it is marked with a solid white line that indicates that you are not supposed to cross that line to travel in.
