WALHALLA – The City of Walhalla asks citizens to please be beware of third-party bill payment websites and apps that appear to be affiliated with the City. Be advised that third-party bill paying services are not endorsed by the City of Walhalla, nor can the City accept any responsibility for transactions conducted through them.

Third party bill payment providers allow consumers to pay a variety of bills, including their Walhalla water bill, through their site, but charge a fee for the service. These providers are not affiliated with the City of Walhalla and they are not authorized to use our logo or name, nor are they an official payment site for the City of Walhalla. The City cannot control when we will receive the payment from third parties, which may result in a late payment for the customer or even disconnection due to nonpayment, as the City will not have a record of your payment. It often takes 7-10 days to receive a payment through a third-party provider.

The only authorized online payment site for the City of Walhalla is the City’s website through the Payment Processing Portal – https://walhalla.qpaybill.com/. You may also pay by phone at 864-778-2418, enroll in auto draft, mail a check directly or pay in-person at City Hall.

If you choose to utilize a third-party payment processor, remember, they will likely charge you an additional fee; and you will have little control over when the payment is delivered to us, so plan ahead.
