Stumphouse Mountain Park fee station area: This project will allow the city to collect fees from visitors to assist with the upkeep of the park.
95% complete.
All major work complete, finishing electrical work and final paneling.

Interior work is ongoing with electrical work nearly complete.

WATER AND SEWER IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT
Div I – Gravity Sewer Rehab
The Division I contractor has completed the cleaning and inspection of the gravity sewers and have begun the sewer line rehabilitation process, using cure-in-place.
Next month the contractor expects to continue installing the cured in place pipe and continue point repairs on the gravity sewer lines.
Div. II – Water System Improvements
The Division II contractor is working through the process of ordering the Rocky Knoll water booster pump station equipment and building. The water booster pump station will take several months for fabrication and delivery. The contractor plans to wait until a firm delivery date of the water booster pump station before installing the new water main along SC 28 Highland Highway.
Div. III – Water System Rehabilitation
The Division III contractor installing the roadway bores and water main along W. North Broad Street and W. South Broad Street. The contractor continues to install water mains along and around W. North Broad Street, W. South Broad Street and West Main Street.
Sertoma Bridge Replacement
Several quotes have been received to repair the bridge; and the city is actively working with FEMA to obtain funding from Hurricane Helene to replace the structure.
To ensure public access, a temporary pedestrian will be installed for fall sports and events.
