Youth Recreation Program Enhancements
The City announced the creation of a newly restructured volunteer program for coaches, referees, umpires, and other volunteers through the Municipal Volunteer Program. Beginning in the new year, all youth sports coaches will be required to attend a formal Coaches Clinic, and training for sports officials will also be implemented.
Parents can expect end-of-season surveys delivered via email for all youth sports programs. Families are encouraged to ensure their RecDesk accounts are up to date to receive these communications.
