Shamrock Night Ride at Stumphouse Mountain Park

Whether you’re a seasoned rider looking for a new challenge or simply ready to try something different, the Shamrock Night Ride promises a fun and festive evening on two wheels.

Gather your riding buddies, deck yourself out in green, and get ready for a sham-rockin’ good time! 🍀 Participants will receive an official event t-shirt with their $30 registration fee — a perfect keepsake from a unique night on the trails.

Shamrock Night Ride

The First Shamrock Night Ride at Stumphouse Mountain Park will take place on Saturday, March 14, 2026 at 8:30pm. The ride will begin and end at the Ross Mountain Entrance. Acknowledgment of Risk *

• I, the undersigned participant, acknowledge that participating in a Night Ride, night time mountain bike ride involves inherent risks, including but not limited to: falls, collisions with other riders or obstacles, equipment failure, adverse weather or trail conditions, visibility limitations, and encounters with wildlife or vehicles. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with my participation in this event.

Bicycle Lights Requirements *

• I agree to equip my bicycle in full compliance with these requirements and to ensure that all lights and reflectors are functioning properly before participating in the ride. I understand that failure to comply with these safety requirements may result in my removal from the event without refund. • All Night Riders must park at the Ross Mountain Parking Lot. • All Night Riders must have both a working front light and tail light. • All Night Riders must use a bike; no jogging, hiking, or trail running permitted during Night Rides. • Trail riders must check in before the race and check out after the race.

Assumption of Responsibility *

• I agree to ride safely and responsibly, maintain control of my bicycle at all times, and follow all instructions provided by event organizers. I will wear an approved helmet and use appropriate safety gear. I understand that I am solely responsible for the condition and maintenance of my bicycle and equipment.

Waiver and Release *

• In consideration for being allowed to participate in this event, I, for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, and assigns, waive, release, and discharge the event organizers, sponsors, volunteers, property owners, the City of Walhalla SC and any associated entities or individuals from any and all liability, claims, or causes of action arising from my participation in this activity — including, but not limited to, injury, death, or property damage — whether caused by negligence or otherwise.

Medical Consent *

• I certify that I am physically fit and capable of safely participating in this event. In the event of an injury or medical emergency, I authorize event personnel to seek medical assistance as deemed necessary.

Photography and Media Release *

• I grant permission for event organizers to use photographs or video taken during the event for promotional purposes, without compensation.
