December 17, 2025 – Officials from the City of Walhalla and the state gathered yesterday to celebrate the ceremonial groundbreaking of the new City of Walhalla Police Headquarters. City Administrator Celia Myers called it “a promise” to Walhalla residents that their safety and well-being remain our highest priority. It’s also “a promise” to our officers that we will provide the tools, space and resources that they need in order to serve the public with excellence. Mayor Tim Hall emphasized that “we’re not just building for today but for the future.”
Work on the site at 205 S John Street will begin by the end of the year.
