Walhalla SC – Repairs on the water main leak were completed Thursday evening by City water crews. This repair, combined with high water use, generated lower water levels in area tanks during Thursday afternoon. Water pressures were restored overnight.
A boil water advisory is in effect for all Walhalla water customers. Boil water advisories are in place for approximately 48 hours, with samples tested at the 24- and 48-hour marks, per regulations. Our top priority is the health and safety of our community.
A boil water advisory notification has been sent to customers through the City’s Code Red Alert system. Once the boil water advisory is lifted, another notification will be sent to customers through the alert system. If you are a Walhalla water customer and do not receive a call and/or text, please contact the Walhalla Water staff during office hours to confirm your contact information. Only one number is associated with each account.
